Morson Chen
Industrial Design
The creative force at Brinno, Morson has over 28 years of industrial design experience. He designed Taiwan’s first digital camera (1996) and first LCD monitor (1997) before co-designing the world’s first computer tablet (1998).
Morson’s philosophy is learning through teaching and he has taught university level design part-time since 2000.
Over the years Morson has been awarded a number of design awards including the Renault Car Design Award (1994), Condex Fall Best Design Award (1999), G-Mark Design Award (2002), and Red Dot Award (2012).
Full of imagination, he is able to approach design challenges with a critical lens. Balancing function and beauty, Morson’s designs highlight his ability to innovate on a daily basis.
Always immersed in art and design, during the weekend you can find Morson visiting a new art exhibit or in his studio experimenting with new artistic creation.
